A dark shadowed drifted through timbers with flags flying. He let out a cry into the darkness and snorted. After seeing the Dark Lord with his Queen. They had two foals a colt and filly. Both fine foals that would need protection when the king is gone. Rodent sneered knowing there was not beta here. Maybe he could be beta to Nightfire. That would be a honor to die for. He wasn't wanting a herd of his own, and he surely didn't want to challenge the king. He meerly wanted to be the one by the King's side in wars. He really wasn't interested in mate, but if he found one then so be it. He let out a cry of calling and then walked up to the king with his dome low in respect. "My Lord I be Rodent and I ask to be a part of your herd."

Darkness had her auds pinned forward as she watched the new comer approach. Calling for her foals to come to her, both raced behind their dam for protection. She stood up tall as the other stag approached hers, both a strong build. Poseidon walked between his mothers hind legs then pocked his dial out from between her front ones. Glaring at the intruder, is ivories showing. With that, he walked to his sire's side, the colts chest pocking out to show of his "huge" muscles just like his dad. |

Rodent looked at the two foals race to their mother's side. He wished to giggled at them, but did not since he had not been welcomed by the King yet. The thoroughbred then watched as the colt made forward and bowed up to him. The bay stepped back lowering his dome in respect to the colt. After all he was the heir to the King. "Will be a fine leader one day, m'lord." Motioning towards the foal with his maw.

Nightfire snorted. He hated stags. All of them. He walked forward. "Hmm...Yes." He snorted and nodded.

He bowed quickly listening to his lord. "THank you my lord. I be here to serve you as your beta if you allow it. I wish only to have a mate and to risk my life in protecting your kin. But as you probably wish of me I shall stay my distance from them. " THe thoroughbred was fully dark, but he was loyal to his king and respectful due to the fact Nightfire could kill him if wanted.

Nightfire snorted turning on his heels but said something ina growl to him. Protect my land while I'm not here, and entertain my kin. He said before turning to graze.
